About Us
Chansons Films encompasses the works of two independent filmmakers and devoted sisters, Cheryl E. Grant and Julia Cook-Ravel. The films they have collaborated on to date embody their passion for the arts and the celebration of the healing power of creativity in all its forms including, music, theatre, dance, drama and comedy. Their work often defies category and the messages remain timeless as they speak to the enduring human spirit that resides in all of us.

Cheryl E. Grant
Director, Writer, Producer, Editor, Actor, Teacher, Cheryl has been immersed in the theatre arts from a young age, beginning her formal training at the American Academy of Performing Arts in New York City. She Subsequently attained a Film Degree from The New School and has directed, written and performed in numerous award winning film and theatre productions.
Julia Cook-Ravel
Executive Producer, Producer, Editor, Julia has produced numerous award-winning productions from conception through completion, from independent documentary and feature films with distribution on Broadway On Demand, to international advertising campaigns for such noted agencies as
Wieden & Kennedy.
